"Appropriate Golf Attire" must be worn at all times. Shirts must have a collar customarily designed for golf (mock turtlenecks are permissable) and shorts must be "Bermuda" length. The Trails is a spikeless golf shoe facility throughout the course and clubhouse. Please note that finished denim slacks are allowed.
Junior golfers are required to observe the standard dress code. (No tee shirts)
Prohibited clothing includes: Short shorts, cut-offs, tennis shorts, swim suits, running shorts, tee shirts, sweat suits and tank tops.
- Daily Play
At The Trails we believe the course should be played in 4 hours. Members and guests are encouraged to play "ready" golf. Prepare for the shot you will play next on the way to your ball. A player should play when it is safe and practical……not always waiting for the player furthest from the hole to play first.
A group that falls more than one open hole behind the group ahead must invite the group behind to play through, or skip a hole to catch the group ahead. The “Player Assistants” shall have the authority to ask any group to stand aside while the following group plays through if there is more than one open hole in front of them.
Each player must have his/her own set of clubs.
Players stopping between nines and unduly delaying play will lose their position on the golf course. Permission must be granted by the Golf Shop before continuing play.
Permission must be granted from the Golf Shop to start on any hole other than #1 tee.
Fivesomes are allowed, provided they can maintain the proper pace of play. A single or twosome may be allowed at the discretion of the Golf Shop.
Repair all divots and ball marks. Sand is provided on the carts and on #10 tee box to fill divots in the fairways.
Report any damage to carts or golf course to the Golf Shop or Club Manager.
- Golf Carts
When there are four players in a group, only two(2) carts will be allowed. If there are five players in a group, only three(3) carts will be alllowed. There is a maximum of three carts per group. Golf Carts should be parked on the cart paths at the tee boxes and when parked at the green. Players are asked to adhere to the 90º rule for carts unless conditions restrict golf carts to the CART PATHS ONLY. Golfers must be 16 years of age, with a valid drivers license to drive a cart.
- Restrictions
Juniors may play after 10 am Tuesday-Thursday and after 1 pm Friday-Sunday when not accompanied by a parent. Juniors, like adult members, are expected to make a tee time to play.
- Practice Areas
Practice Balls are conveniently located on the driving range 30 minutes prior to the first tee time until approximately 1 hour before dark. Balls are also located in the chipping area and the practice bunker during the same hours. Juniors under the age of 11 must be supervised by a parent or guardian on any of the practice facilities.
